Dr. Palejwala is an excellent surgeon. I fell and hurt my neck so badly that I needed surgery two days after entering Long Beach Memorial. At first I refused to be operated on but through indepth discussions with Dr, Palejwala she told me I had a choice; complete recovery or risk having paralysis or worse. I decided to proceed although I was very nervous about the operation. Before the operation I was near tears and asked Dr. Palejwala to please take care of me. She promised that she would and she ensured me everything would be okay. Dr. Palejwala fused my C3, C4, C5, C6 and partial C2 and C7. As she promised, everything turned out okay. it's been a year since my surgery and everything she told me has come to fruition. My left arm regained strength, the numbness all but vanished, and my neck and shoulders are strong and I'm 99% back! I attribute my amazing recovery to the skill and personal care of Dr. Palajwala. I'm very grateful for Dr. Palejwala and I recommend her to anyone that wants a skilled surgeon that provides a personal caring touch to the situation.

I was very impressed by Dr Javahery Earlier this month. From the beginning of the Appointment to the end, he was very caring, patient, and Interested in what I had to say. He showed me the images of my MRIs Explaining the areas of concern And allow me to ask questions. He is a very thorough Doctor I knew that he looked at my history before seeing me Because he knew ahead of time that my case medical history was complex. He ordered more tests To check on other things before he would be Able to tell me what options I have for treatment That are safe for me. Dr. Javahery is an amazing neurosurgeon. My spouse needed brain surgery to clip an artery, extremely rare and dangerous case. I seriously believe he saved my spouse’s life. When he came onboard with the other physicians, Javahery believed he could help us. He took his time communicating to us the procedure. We were frightened but wanted to put our trust in him. Dr. Javahery was patient and thoughtful when describing a procedure to remove a Lypoma off my daughter’s forehead. The staff was helpful and we were seen right at our appointment time.

My first visit with Dr. Rayhaun was very informative. He listened carefully to the cause of my injury and spent time explaining and confirming the struggle I have experienced since the incident happened. He listened attentively and offered suggestions to help. We went over the MRI and he carefully pointed out the source of my problem and offered a solution.

Hello Dr. Rayhaun. Yesterday , I had the X-rays on my lower back done plus I got the disc with the results on it. I can come in earlier than the November 25th appointment your secretary gave me. As far as what I feel about my first visit with you, I 'm not good at remembering very many of the details you told me. I really liked the screens you showed me but I don't know what sections of my back could be causing the leg pains these past three years. And I think I remember you saying the word "surgery" which scares me. I feel after three years and multiple doctors and practitioners calling it neuropathy and then zoom so fast to slicing and dicing based on the scan makes me scared. Can you guarantee surgery will completely stop all the pain and tingling up and down my legs and feet and I can walk safely and completely again? I look forward to seeing and having you repeat what exactly the scan showed and now, what the new X-rays show. Thanks. Robert Meyer

Dr. Palejwala was the perfect surgeon for me. She took the time to explain my surgery and set realistic expectations. The surgery went extremely well and she was there for me in the hospital and throughout the recovery process. She answered all my questions fully and never made me feel rushed. She listened intently and addressed all my concerns. I feel blessed to have been her patient. I had complete confidence in her because of her candor, sincerity, and obvious connections with her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Palejwala as a top notch surgeon and caring human being. By the way, her office staff is friendly, helpful, and supportive. My experiences with office visits were always a pleasure as was communication via phone or email. Dr. Javahery is among the most communicative, compassionate doctors I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He takes all my concerns and questions seriously, no matter how trivial, and spends the time to make sure I understand every step of my illness and treatment. He encourages me to take an active role in my own health and takes my input seriously-- I have never felt like a one-and-done patient, he is invested in solving my medical mysteries even beyond surgery. Especially as a trans person, it can be difficult to get medical care without gender getting in the way, but Dr. Javahery and all of the staff at Coast Neurosurgical have been nothing but kind and respectful. No "trans broken arm syndrome" here, I feel totally safe with them!

Saved my daughters life when she was 15 years old. She had a brain, stem AVM and today she is married with two children a miracle I would highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Rayhaun is very professional. My first office visit was December 2019. I loved his personality, he put a smile on my face, even when I was having serve pain.

I am pleased with the outcome of the surgery. All the hospital staff were always courteous, friendly, and informative. The same for the surgery room Dr's and nurses. I always felt confident that I was in good hands. My only regret is that I'd put this off as long as I had.

I went to see Dr. Ja sheet for a second opinion. He explain I detail all the problems that appeared on my MRI. He spoke of what could be done to ameliorate my pain. He was very thorough. I would see him n Doctor Rayhaun as well, though both had different opinions on how to proceed.

Dr Javahery performed back surgery for me several years ago. I keep returning to him about my ongoing neck issues because he is the only doctor I fully trust with these issues. He assures me that I am not a surgical candidate at this time, but if my condition continues to get worse, he is the only one I would feel safe to do a surgery. He is thorough, thoughtful, kind and trustworthy.
